Minnesota Vikings Betting Odds

Today we look at a preview of the upcoming season for the Minnesota Vikings. Current Minnesota Vikings betting odds have them at 12-1 to win Super Bowl 2019. The Minnesota Vikings came close to becoming the first team to play in the Super Bowl in their own stadium, but lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. But, instead of sitting around and licking their wounds, the Vikings made a few moves that could help them get to the Super Bowl this year.

Last year, Case Keenum led the team to a share of the best record in the NFL. But after the season, the Vikings felt they needed an upgrade at the quarterback position. Minnesota let Keenum, Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater walk, and focused on landing former Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins.

The Vikings already have one of the best defenses in the league, and with Cousins leading the offense, might be the best team in the league next season.

Minnesota Vikings Schedule

With the NFL regular season just around the corner we look ahead to the Minnesota Vikings schedule for the upcoming season.

In his final three seasons in Washington, Cousins threw for over 4,000 yards in each of them, throwing 81 touchdowns and 36 interceptions. Those numbers are even more impressive when you consider the fact that Cousins didn’t have any weapons to work with last season, after the team let his two best receivers walk in free agency.

This season, Cousins will be working with a lot of weapons like running back Dalvin Cook, who was likely headed for Rookie of the Year honors before suffering a season-ending injury. Latavius Murray, who ran for 842 yards and 8 touchdowns while filling in for Cook, will also be back this season.

Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, who combined for over 2,000 yards last season, will also be back, as will veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph.

With a healthy Aaron Rodgers returning for the Green Bay Packers, the Vikings will have a little competition in the NFC North, but they should be able to win the division and finish with one of the best records in the league.

In the playoffs, things will get tougher, but if their core players stay healthy and they have home field advantage, the will be tough to stop. Minnesota’s odds to win the Super Bowl next season is 12-1.
