Seattle Seahawks Season Prediction
The Seattle Seahawks missed the playoffs for the first time since 2011. At the end of the season, there were people questioning if the team’s window to win another Super Bowl. Here is this year’s Seahawks season prediction. Despite the chatter, head coach Pete Carroll believes his team has enough talent. Enough to compete for another NFC West title and make a deep playoff run.
The Seahawks made waves at the start of the offseason. This was when they waived veteran cornerback Richard Sherman, who suffered a season ending Achilles injury. The team also waived Cliff Avril and Jeremy Lane. This has left a void in their defense.
Seattle’s biggest problem going into the offseason was their offensive e line, which has been one of the worst in the league over the past three seasons. They picked up Willie Beavers, Isaiah Battle and Skylar Phillips in free agency, and are hoping they will help improve their line this year.
Pete Carroll seems to be confident in his free agent signings because they only picked one offensive lineman in the NFL Draft.

Fortunately for the Seahawks, Wilson didn’t get hurt. This season, Wilson probably won‘t lead the team in rushing yards. If first round pick Rashaad Penny is as good as the team thinks he will be. If this season prediction is not what you expected, then here is why.
Talent wise, the Seahawks have what it takes to be a playoff team. However, they will have a hard time making the playoffs with the Los Angeles Rams going all in this offseason in hopes of winning the Super Bowl this season.
Pete Carroll deserves a lot of credit for changing the culture of this franchise and turning them in to contenders. However, the team is getting older and they are likely going to struggle to make the playoffs this year.
