NFL Week 6 Betting

NFL Week 6 betting continues with Chargers vs Browns odds. The Cleveland Browns will be trying to win two consecutive games for the first time. This is since the 2014 season. They welcome the Los Angeles Chargers to FirstEnergy Stadium. The game will be played on Sunday, October 14. It is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM. ET.

The Chargers have played well since their season-opening loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Winning three of their last four contests. They will be going for their third consecutive win when they face the Browns on Sunday.

Los Angeles’ offense has been great so far, with the team averaging 27.4 points per game, which is eighth in the league. Phillip Rivers has looked good so far, completing a career-high 70 percent of his passes for 1,495 yards, 13 touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Their running game, led by Melvin Gordon, who has 334 rushing yards and three touchdowns has also been solid this season.

Defense has been the biggest issue the Chargers have had this year, with the 26 points the team is allowing this season being 21st in the league. If their defense shows up in this game, the Chargers should be able to get the win.

With the team winning one game in two seasons, expectations weren’t very high for the Browns. This coming into this season. However, they have surprised their fans and critics with their performance so far.

Chargers Vs Browns Odds

NFL Week 6 Betting Chargers Vs Browns Odds

Defense has been the key to Cleveland’s success this season. Also, the team is holding opponents to 22.6 points per game, which is 12th in the league. The Browns put up a defensive clinic in their game against the Baltimore Ravens, holding their division rivals to nine points in a game that went into overtime. What does this mean for the Browns?

The Browns will have a tough task slowing down the Chargers’ offense, but if they can get pressure on Rivers, they should be able to force him into turning the ball over, which has been their calling card so far.

Offensively, the Browns are averaging 22.8 points per game, which is 20th in the league, but they have looked significantly better since rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield was named their starting quarterback.

If Mayfield can avoid turning the ball over and the team doesn’t make too many mistakes, the Browns can get the win over the Chargers.

The Chargers are favored to win this game by 1.5 points. The over/under on total points scored is 44.5.

The Chargers have looked good offensively, especially in the last two weeks. However, they haven’t defeated a team with a winning record so far, and they will face a tough challenge against the Browns, who have made some of the best offenses in the league look average. Take Cleveland +1.5.

In conclusion, the Browns have a chance. What do you guys think?

Roger Goodell Looking For Gambling Regulations From Congress

Looking for news on legal NFL betting? How about the latest on gambling regulations? After the Supreme Court ruled that states could legalize sports betting if Congress refuses to do so. Many NFL fans were excited. This is because they will be able to legally bet on games. One person that wasn’t happy about the decision was NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Roger asked Congress for a standardization across all states that chose to legalize sports betting.

In the past, the NFL had distanced itself from any affiliation with gambling, and the organization was one of the co-defendants in the case, Christie vs. NCAA, which challenged the 25-year ban.

In an earlier meeting this year, the league and owners debated the possible impacts of an overturned ban. Now that states are allowed to legalize sports betting, Goodell and the NFL are trying to seek the most advantageous, and lucrative, opportunities now available, with sports betting expected to generate billions in revenue.

Legal NFL Betting Gambling Regulations

In a Statement released on Monday regarding gambling regulations, Goodell said:

“As it was for my predecessors, there is no greater priority for me as the Commissioner of the National Football League than protecting the integrity of our sport. Our fans, our players and our coaches deserve to know that we are doing everything possible to ensure no improper influences affect how the game is played on the field. This week’s ruling by the Supreme Court has no effect on that unwavering commitment.”

What does this mean for legal NFL betting?

Goodell also asked Congress to “Enact uniform standards for states that choose to legalize sports betting that include, at a minimum, four core principles:

1. There must be substantial consumer protections;

2. Sports leagues can protect our content and intellectual property from those who attempt to steal or misuse it;

3. Fans will have access to official, reliable league data; and

4. Law enforcement will have the resources, monitoring and enforcement tools necessary to protect our fans and penalize bad actors here at home and abroad.”

In conclusion, doesn’t look like legal NFL betting is coming soon.

Betting on NFL Week 5 LA Rams Seahawks

The LA Rams will be going for their fifth consecutive win. This is when they take on the Seattle Seahawks this week. Take note for betting on NFL Week 5. The game will be played on Sunday, October 7 at CenturyLink Field. It is scheduled to begin at 4:25 PM. ET.

The Rams have lived up to their offseason hype. They won their first four games of the season. The team has looked impressive on offense. Scoring 35 points per game. However, they still have plenty of work to do on defense. This is after giving up 55 points in their last two games.

Quarterback Jared Goff has been great in their four games. He has completed 72 percent of his passes for 1,406 yards. Also, 11 touchdowns, and two interceptions. If he keeps up the pace he will be one of the favorites to win the MVP award.

The Rams have had success against the Seahawks in the past. Also, and they will go into this game with a lot of confidence. Goff should be able to put up big numbers against the defense. This is after the Hawks lost Earl Thomas to a broken leg in Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Los Angeles’ defense, which has struggled in their last two games, should be able to keep Seattle’s offense in check. This is so because the Seahawks have one of the worst offensive lines in the league.

Betting On NFL Week 5 LA Rams

The Seahawks are currently 2-2. Which is good for second place in the NFC West. They will be trying to prevent the Rams from increasing their lead in the division, which is easier said than done these days. Enjoy these betting on NFL week 5 picks.

Offensively, the Seahawks have struggled this season, averaging 21.3 points per game, which is 24th in the league. Their defense, which has been their strength in the last few years, is a shell of its former self and things got worse this week with Thomas’ injury.

LA Rams Betting Odds

Russell Wilson has done his best to keep the Seahawks in games this season, but he is running for his life behind a bad offensive line, which is why he has fumbled the ball six times in four games. The Seahawks are averaging 196.5 passing yards per game, which is 29th in the league, and 105.5 rushing yards per game, which is 16th in the league.

With the Rams coming into town this week, the Seahawks will need the crowd at the Clink to be as loud as they’ve ever been and their defense to step up and slow the Rams offense down.

The Rams are favored to win the game by 7 points. The over/under on total runs scored is 49.5.

The Rams are the second highest scoring team in the league and they will be able to score against Seattle’s defense. They will extend their streak of scoring 30 or more points this week and the Seahawks won’t be able to keep up with them. Take Los Angeles -7.

In conclusion, betting on NFL week 5 is simple. Bet on the LA Rams to win this game and make it to Super Bowl 53. To check out NFL futures bets visit our Super Bowl odds page.

Baker Mayfield Named Cleveland Browns Starter

When the Cleveland Browns selected Baker Mayfield with the number one overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the front office and coaching staff told reporters they planned on letting the rookie sit this year. So he familiarizes himself with the playbook. This while Tyrod Taylor, who they acquired before the draft, starts.

Taylor was inconsistent in the first two games of the season. However, remained the team’s starter until a concussion suffered in the first half of the game. This against the New York Jets opened the door for Baker Mayfield to get some action.

Mayfield immediately made an impact on offense and helped the Browns get their first win of the season. After the game, head coach Hue Jackson refused to confirm if Baker Mayfield will start for the Browns moving forward, but on Monday, Jackson confirmed that he is moving forward with Mayfield as the starter for the rest of the season.

“He’s the starting quarterback of this football team,” Jackson said. “We know it’s a long season, all kind of things can happen. Baker Mayfield is the starting quarterback of this team.”

Cleveland Browns Betting Odds

Cleveland Browns Baker Mayfield

Jackson told reporters that Baker Mayfield’s performance on Thursday made the decision easier, and added that the rookie had a big smile on his face after he was told he was the starter. After the announcement, Mayfield fielded a few questions from reporters and said it was gratifying to have earned the role instead of it being handed to him.

“You want to have to work for it. You’ve got to earn it,” the rookie quarterback said Monday. “… Success is so much more fun when you have to work for it.”

Jackson had a lot of praise for his new starter and was impressed with what he saw from him on Thursday.

“There was nothing that I saw that he wasn’t ready to handle,” Jackson said. “He checked off every box for me.

“… This is sooner than when I thought it would happen because I thought we would play much better earlier on offense and we didn’t. There was a stark difference in how we performed when he got in there.” Does Baker Mayfield have the juice?

Saints Falcons NFL Betting

Ready for some Saints Falcons NFL betting? NFL Week 3 is here! The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons will renew their rivalry. They face off in the first of two matchups this season. The game will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday, September 23. It is scheduled to begin at 1 PM. ET.

New Orleans Saints Prediction

The Saints were able to bounce back from their season-opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With a win over the Cleveland Browns. Also, they will be trying to make it two wins in a row when they play the Falcons.

Drew Brees continues to play at a high level. Brees followed up his 400-yard performance against the Buccaneers with a solid effort against Cleveland, completing 28 of 35 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns.

However, the Saints are still struggling to run the ball and finished the game with 62 yards on 23 carries. The team will need to do a better job getting their ground game going to prevent the Falcons from sending blitzes at Brees all game.

The Saints’ defense also did a good job against the Browns, giving up only 234 passing yards after letting Ryan Fitzpatrick throw for over 400 yards last week.

If their defense plays like it did against the Browns and Brees continues to play at a high level, the Saints will be able to get the win over their rivals on Sunday.

NFL Week 3

Saints Falcons NFL Betting Week 3

Atlanta Falcons Prediction

After taking a lot of criticism for his performance against the Philadelphia Eagles in their season opener, Matt Ryan responded with a solid effort against the Carolina Panthers in week 2.

Ryan finished the game completing 23 of 28 passes for 272 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Ryan also made some plays with his feet, finishing with 18 yards and two touchdowns on four carries.

Atlanta’s running game was also effective, despite Devonta Freeman missing the game with an injury. The Falcons finished with 170 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries, led by Tevin Coleman, who rushed for 107 yards on 16 carries.

The Falcons will need another balanced offensive attack. This is if they want to hand the Saints their second loss of the season. Also, take sole control of second place in the NFC South.

With that said, the Falcons are favored to win this game by 3 points. The over/under on total points scored is 53.

Therefore, since this is a rivalry game, expect to see a close contest. However, since the Falcons are at home and the Saints offense relies heavily on Brees, expect the Falcons to bring pressure and try to force some turnovers, which should help them get the win. Take the Falcons -3.

In conclusion, we hope you enjoyed these Saints Falcons NFL betting odds.

Do The Pittsburgh Steelers Need LeVeon Bell?

Do The Pittsburgh Steelers Need LeVeon Bell? The Pittsburgh Steelers were unable to come to terms on a new deal with running back Le’Veon Bell. This forced the team to use their franchise tag on him for the second consecutive year. Bell, who wasn’t happy about the team not meeting his contract demands. He refused to sign the franchise tag and hasn’t reported to the team since the end of last season.

Bell’s absence cause a rift with his teammates. Steelers who questioned his desire to be with the team and for letting them down. His absence also caused many to wonder if the Steelers will be ab le to make a deep playoff run without one of the best playmakers in the league.

With LeVeon Bell refusing to report to the team, the Steelers decided to go James Conner, whom they drafted last season but got limited playing time behind Bell.

Conner started in Bell’s place against the Cleveland Browns in their season opener and the second-year man looked good. Conner finished the game with 135 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. He also had five receptions for 57 yards.

Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Odds

Pittsburgh Steelers Leveon Bell

Leveon Bell might be out of a job. With Conner looking impressive against a good Browns defense, many fans took to social media to praise their young running back and tell the team to let Bell walk. Since Conner has started only one game, it is still too early to tell if he can fill Bell’s shoes, but Steelers fans believe he can and don’t see any reason for the team to pay Bell’s asking price.

Since the NFL season is still young and injuries do happen, the Steelers are better off taking a wait and see approach. If Conner continues to play well and stays healthy, the Steelers won‘t need Bell anymore and can try to sign and trade him for some compensation. They can also keep him around for insurance if Conner gets hurt, but they will lose him in free agency and won’t get anything back in return.

In conclusion, one thing that’s for sure in the situation is the better Conner plays, the less leverage Bell has when it comes to his contract negotiations with the Steelers. LeVeon Bell needs to sign.

Steelers Vs Browns Week 1

The Pittsburgh Steelers will kick off their 2018 campaign with a week one matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The game will be played on Sunday, September 9 at FirstEnergy Stadium. It is scheduled to begin at 1 PM. ET. Ready for some Steelers vs Browns Week 1 betting picks?

Pittsburgh Steelers Analysis: The Steelers finished the 2017 season with a 13-3 record. This was tied for the best record in the NFL. However, they were eliminated from the playoffs in the Divisional Round of the playoffs by the Jacksonville Jaguars The Jags beat the Steelers twice at Heinz Field last year.

Despite their early playoff exit, the Steelers are considered one of the best teams in the league. Also, they have the third-best odds to win the Super Bowl this year.

The Steelers will go into this game with a sense of déjà vu. This is so because they are in a similar situation as last season. Le’Veon Bell, whom the team used the franchise tag on has still not reported to the team. Bell will likely get off to a slow start like he did last year when he eventually reports.

Due to Bell’s lack of fitness at the start of last season, the Steelers struggled against the Browns in their season opener, and they will probably have the same problem on Sunday. Enjoy these Steelers vs Browns betting picks.

NFL Week 1 Betting

Steelers Vs Browns Week 1 NFL Betting

Cleveland Browns Analysis: The Browns have been the laughing stock of the league for quite some time, and they didn’t do their reputation any favors in the last two seasons, winning only one game in that span. After going 0-16 last year, the Browns have nowhere to go but up, so expect them to be a dangerous team this year.

The Browns upgraded their quarterback position by trading for Tyrod Taylor and drafting Baker Mayfield with the top pick in the draft this year. They also upgraded their running back position by signing Carlos Hyde and drafting Nick Chubb in the second round.

Cleveland also upgraded its defense with the addition of Denzel Ward, who is expected to make an impact this year. With Myles Garrett and Jabrill Peppers improving from last year, the Browns will surprise a lot of people this year.

NFL Week 1 Picks and Predictions: The Steelers are favored to win this game by 4.5 points. The over/under on total points scored is 46.5.

In conclusion last year the Steelers struggled in their season opener against a team that went 0-16. This year, the Browns are much improved and they will make a statement with a win over the Steelers on opening day.

Nick Foles Named Starter For Eagles Season Opener

Nick Foles is in the building as starting quarterback! The Philadelphia Eagles had been hoping to kick off their title defense with their starting quarterback Carson Wentz under center. However, Wentz still hasn’t been cleared to play. This is after suffering a season-ending injury late last season.

With Wentz still on the shelf, the Eagles announced on Monday that backup quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles will start Thursday night’s season opener.

“After consideration and everything and about the football team and this decision, Nick Foles is the starter Week 1,” head coach Doug Pederson said in a statement. “My press conference will be tomorrow, and I’ll answer questions at that time. But I wanted you to hear it from me. It is about the football team and the best interests of the 53. And Nick Foles will be my starter Week 1. Thank you.” Is Nck Foles the right choice for starting quarterback?

Even though the Eagles have a lot of confidence in his ability, especially after he led them to the Super Bowl win, there are a few concerns about Foles going into the season opener, especially after his disappointing performance during the preseason.

Starting Quarterback Update

Nick Foles Starting Quarterback

Dan Quinn, the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, who the Eagles will open the season against, told reporters it didn’t matter to him which quarterback starts the game because of their similar style of play.

“If style was so drastically different … probably back in the day and we were having this conversation between Jaws [Ron Jaworski] and Randall [Cunningham], we might have that discussion,” he said. “But these two guys are really equipped to run it in a similar fashion.”

Last season, Foles led the Eagles to a 15-10 win over the Falcons in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, and the Eagles are confident he can lead them to another win over the Falcons. What do you think about Nick Foles as the starting quarterback?

“We obviously love the fact that Nick Foles is here, and he’s been our starting quarterback since Carson went down with the injury,” said Eagles offensive coordinator Mike Groh. “We’ve had a lot of success with Nick, and so we have a lot of confidence and faith in Nick and the way he is going to play and how the guys are going to play with him.”

Doug Marrone Takes Dig At Doug Pederson

The Jaguars and Eagles are at it again. This time, the beef is off the field. Doug Marrone has thrown shade at Doug Pederson.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson criticized Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone in his new book detailing how the Eagles won the Super Bowl last season.

In the book, Pederson said he was shocked that the Jaguars took a knee with 55 seconds remaining in the first half of the AFC title game, opting to settle for a 14-10 lead over the New England Patriots at the half.

“I was there thinking, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me right now,'” Pederson wrote. “It made me mad because Jacksonville had New England right where they wanted them. I was screaming at the TV in my office. When they knelt right before halftime, inside I was like, ‘I’ll never do that.’ It fueled me. They could have least tried for a field goal. They took it out of their quarterback’s hands, and they didn’t give to their big back Leonard Fournette. I thought, ‘If they lose this game, this is why.’ Sure enough they would go on to lose the game.”

Philadelphia Eagles News

Doug Marrone Doug Pederson Eagles Jaguars

When asked to respond to Pederson’s criticism of the decision to run out the clock, Marrone said he didn’t have a problem with what Pederson wrote in the book, but referenced a book he recently read: “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F—: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life.”

“Hey, Doug won a Super Bowl,” Marrone said. “Doug did a great job of coaching. I’m sure there’s a long line of people that have the same questions or feelings. It’s just what you’re going to do.

“I read a book in the offseason by Mark Manson, the New York one, No. 1 bestseller on the Times [New York Times’ bestseller list], so those things happen and that’s it. But I respect the hell out of him and his team and he won a Super Bowl. We lost, and when you lose you question everything so I don’t have a problem with it.”

It will be interesting to see how the team performs when they meet in London on October 28. Who do you believe is right? Doug Marrone or Doug Pederson?

Julio Jones And Devonta Freeman Expected To Miss Entire Preseason

In breaking Atlanta Falcons news. Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman are expected to miss entire preseason. What does this mean for Falcons odds? Nothing, it’s preseason.

The Atlanta Falcons kept All Pro wide receiver Julio Jones and running back Devonta Freeman out of the team’s first two preseason games. However, fans expected to see them in at least one of the team’s final preseason games. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case. Poor Falcons fans.

Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters that neither Jones nor Freeman will play in the team’s third preseason game. This all but eliminates them from participating in the preseason because starters generally don’t play in the final preseason game.

The decision to hold both players out is strange. This is because neither player is injured and have been participating team practices. Before their first two preseason games. Both players were in uniform and participated in pre-game drills, but didn’t play in either game.

Also, according to Quinn, holding both players out of the preseason games was part of the plan all along, and it’s “likely” they won’t play the rest of the preseason.

Atlanta Falcons Injury Update

Julio Jones Devonta Freeman Atlanta Falcons

“Really had the plan of going through the spring. Based on some of their injury history, I knew we wanted to ramp their work up on [training] camp but maybe not give them the reps in the game,” Quinn said. “That’s the plan we kind of set out with and stayed true to that. If there was something that I felt they needed, then I would adjust that. But right now, that’s where we’re headed.” You can check out the latest Atlanta Falcons betting odds here.

Quinn also isn’t worried the players will be rusty when the regular season starts after not seeing any action in the preseason. Without Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman the Atlanta Falcons are troubled.

In conclusion, the Atlanta Falcons need help. “I’m not concerned, but I recognize the question, for sure,” Quinn said. “So it’s kind of like the trade off to say, ‘Can they practice at the high enough speed that we can get them ready to go?’ In those two instances, I think that’s the case — that we can. If I had concerns that we wouldn’t be able to do or I felt like it was worth [playing them], I certainly would.”

Do you think Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman are fantasy draft material?

AJ McCarron Injury Opens Door For Peterman

Heading into the start of the preseason, the Buffalo Bills expected offseason acquisition AJ McCarron. AJ spent the first four seasons of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals. This was to compete with rookie Josh Allen. The Bengals selected with the seventh pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Nathan Peterman, who had one touchdown and six interceptions. In limited action last season, was relegated to third string.

In their last preseason game, McCarron went down with a shoulder injury. Also, the team initially thought might cost him the season. Tests revealed AJ McCarron didn’t break is collarbone. Rather, he should be cleared to play when the pain subsides. What’s next for the Buffalo Bills?

Despite the good news, McCarron is expected to miss the remainder of the preseason, which means Peterman has a shot to take the starting job if he outplays Allen in the remaining preseason games.

Even though Peterman threw five interceptions in the first half of his first career start, Buffalo’s front office is still very high on him. During a meeting with reporters in June, general manager Brandon Beane and coach Sean McDermott heaped a lot of praise on Peterman. Do the Buffalo Bills have a chance?

Buffalo Bills

AJ McCarron Buffalo Bills
“He’s a very confident young man,” Beane said. “He’s resilient. You saw a guy who got knocked down hard — not all on him, either — but the greatest thing about what Nathan did was he never pointed a finger. That says a lot. Because it’s hard. He could have easily said, ‘Well, this guy,’ or, ‘This happened.’ His next opportunity was the snow game.” The Buffalo Bills are in trouble.

McDermott and Beane were also asked if they feel Peterman gets enough credit for the team’s 13-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts in his second start.

“No,” McDermott said. “No,” echoed Beane. “Nobody talks about that. He made a great throw to Kelvin [Benjamin] to get us the lead before halftime. It proved super important after [the Colts] scored late.” This is similar to the Arizona Cardinals situation with David Johnson.

“Nate has come back in here. This player is super smart. He’s not gonna tell you how good he is or how smart he is. Steady Eddie everyday. You love how he approaches the game. I know Sean has been in [the quarterback meeting room] more than me, but even I’ve stopped in there a couple of times when [offensive coordinator Brian] Daboll has had those guys in there, and they’re writing stuff on the board. [Daboll] is playing ‘Jeopardy’ with them. He’s trying to just see what they know, and Nathan is really, really smart.”

In conclusion, with McDermott planning to wait until after the fourth preseason game to name his regular season starter, Peterman has a great chance to get the job if he continues to impress his coaches. When will AJ McCarron be back? This does not look good for the Buffalo Bills.

Jalen Ramsey Goes Off On Quarterbacks Calls Matt Ryan Overrated

Jalen Ramsey is in the news again. Now, Ramsey is going off on Matt Ryan. Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey isn’t afraid to speak his mind, and did just that in a recent interview with GQ.

During the interview, Ramsey sounded off on the quarterbacks in the league and apparently doesn’t think a lot of them are any good.

Ramsey called 2016 NFL MVP Matt Ryan, who led the Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl that season an overrated quarterback and a product of former offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan’s offensive system.

“I think Matt Ryan’s overrated,” Ramsey said. “You can’t tell me you win MVP two years ago, and then last year, you a complete bust, and you still got Julio Jones? There’s no way that should ever happen. I don’t care. You know what that tells me? That tells me Shanahan left, went to San Francisco, got Garoppolo, made Garoppolo this big thing. And now Garoppolo is a big name — and now [Ryan] has this bad year?”

Ramsey also doesn’t think much of Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen, and called the seventh overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft trash.

Matt Ryan Eyes Comeback

Jalen Ramsey Matt Ryan

“I think Allen is trash,” Ramsey said. “I don’t care what nobody say. He’s trash. And it’s gonna show too. That’s a stupid draft pick to me. We play them this year, and I’m excited as hell. I hope he’s their starting quarterback. He played at Wyoming. Every time they played a big school — like, they played Iowa State, which is not a big school in my opinion because I went to Florida State, and he threw five interceptions and they lost by a couple touchdowns or something like that. He never beat a big school.”

Ramsey also went in on two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning, crediting Odell Beckham Jr. for New York’s success, even though he wasn’t on either of the Super Bowl-winning teams.

“It’s not really Eli. I think it’s Odell [Beckham Jr.]. I won’t say Eli’s good. I’ll say Odell’s good. And their connection is good,” Ramsey said.

Packers Raiders NFL Preseason Gambling

Ready for some Packers Raiders NFL preseason gambling? The Green Bay Packers will be going for their third consecutive preseason win when they visit the Oakland Raiders in week 3 of the NFL preseason. The game will be played at Oakland Coliseum on Friday, August 24, and it is scheduled to begin at 10:30 PM. ET.

Green Bay Packers Analysis

The Packers have been great offensively during the preseason, scoring 31 points against the Tennessee Titans in their first game, and 51 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in their second game. They will be hoping their offense continues playing well when they play the Raiders, who have been solid defensively.

With this week being the third week of the preseason, the starters traditionally get a lot of playing time because it is the last preseason game they will play before the season starts.

Aaron Rodgers looked good against the Steelers, completing 2 of 4 passes for 35 yards and a touchdown. The battle for the backup quarterback position is still too close to call with DeShone Kizer completing 7 of 12 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns, while Brett Hundley, who filled in for an injured Rodgers last season, completed 6 of 9 passes for 77 yards. How does that make you feel about NFL preseason gambling?

Green Bay’s defense gave up 34 points to the Steelers last week and will need to improve if they want to win on Friday.

Gambling on NFL Preseason

Packers Raiders NFL Preseason Gambling

Oakland Raiders Analysis

The Raiders suffered their first loss of the preseason when they played the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday and will be trying to bounce back with a win this week.

Head coach Jon Gruden has kept his starters out for most of the preseason, but he will likely give them some playing time on Friday so they aren’t rusty when the regular season starts. Enjoy these Packers Raiders betting odds.

Oakland’s offense hasn’t done much this preseason, averaging 15.5 points per game. Their defense has been stout and have held their opponents to 9.5 points per game. The defense will get tested against a Packers team that leads the league in scoring.

With quarterback Derek Carr sitting out last week’s game, E.J. Manuel and Connor Cook got a lot of playing time. Manuel finished the game completing 10 of 16 passes for 89 yards and one touchdown, while Cook went 6 of 12 for 49 yards.

Packers Raiders Pick and Prediction

The betting odds for this game are not yet available. The Raiders defense will have a tough time stopping Green Bay’s offense, especially if Rodgers plays significant minutes, and with their starters not getting a lot of playing time in the preseason, they will have a hard time keeping up with the Packers. Take Green Bay in this one. There you have it, all your NFL preseason gambling odds.

On Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they have suspended cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Also, defensive end Dante Fowler was suspended. This was for one week. Thus meaning both players will miss their preseason game. The missed game against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.

The team said the suspension was a result of Fowler’s involvement. An altercation after practice on Sunday occured. Ramsey’s profane rant about the media members that filmed the altercation.

In a statement, the Jacksonville Jaguars said, the two were suspended “for violating team rules and conduct unbecoming of a Jaguars football player.”

Fowler got into an altercation with teammate Yannick Ngakoue shortly after practice ended and the two players twice had to be separated by Calais Campbell and Carroll Phillips as well as defensive tackle Abry Jones. No punches were thrown during the altercation.

NFL Suspensions

Jacksonville Jaguars Jalen Ramsey

Jalen Ramsey got upset because he saw media members filming the altercation between Fowler and Ngakoue and yelled at the local media to “stop recording that s—, man!” He continued to yell at the media and use profane language as he left the practice field. We would be too.

After the practice session ended, Ramsey sent out a series of tweets and tried to explain why he was sticking up for Fowler.

“I’m always gone take up for my teammates kus I know what type of men and players they are forreal! Love my dawgs! If you don’t like it, oh well. God bless,” Ramsey wrote.

In addition to his one week suspension, Fowler will miss the season opener. This was punishment for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Resulting from a July 2017 arrest and subsequent plea deal. The case was involving battery, criminal mischief and petty theft charges.

In short, the Jaguars are doomed.
